Product Line Descriptions
Carbon Control for Heat Treating:

  • Fully Integrated Systems/SCADA: Marathon sells a full line of fully integrated control systems for all manner of heat treating. From batch furnace controls to plant-wide SCADA systems, Marathon's solutions are the most comprehensive and cost-effective in the industry.
  • NDIR Systems: Using the best optics and analyzers available, Marathon provides portable and fixed NDIR probe calibrations systems to ensure the highest possible quality for heat treated parts..
  • Carbon Sensors / Probes: The AACC, Carbonseer, UltraProbe II, and Piccolo probes monitor heat treat atmosphere oxygen levels and provide the user with a "carbon potential" or "dewpoint" based on proprietary algorithms.
  • Instrumentation: The MultiPro, DualPro, CarbPro, 10Pro and VersaPro instruments control and monitor all phases of the heat treat process.
  • Extractive Sensing and Controls: The Sentinel-ESTM, Sentinel-ESi, Sentinel-FCP provide state-of-the-art extractive sensing and control allowing older furnaces to be cost-effectively updated to today's demanding quality standards.
Excess Oxygen Controls
  • High-temperature in-situ Oxygen Sensors: The Oxyfire line is the industry's best value for applications in the 1200°F to 3000°F range including: boilers, steel reheat furnaces, glass furnaces, chem / petrochem furnaces and reformers and incineration.
  • Low-temperature in-situ Oxygen Sensors: The LOROX line  provides long-lifetime measurement in environments ranging from ambient to 1250°F
  • Extractive Oxygen Sensors / Controllers: The Sentinel-ES and Sentinel-ESi provide cost-effective extractive sensing and control of oxygen for environments that are unsuitable for in-situ probes.
  • Instrumentation: Controllers / Transmitters - The VersaPro can be can be configured for either trim control or oxygen monitoring, while the OxySender provides cost-effective 4-20 mA transmission of oxygen concentration and temperature.
